NanoBridges in The Pilbara WA
This photo shows the relay point on a hill joining separate 4km and 1.7 km links giving a total path length of 5.7 km. The link is in the Pilbara WA and was installed by a major mining company.
This node is solar powered (Solar cells/batteries not shown). The end of one link is circled in red. The Ubiquiti units are 22 dBi NanoBridges
Performance:
Connect Speeds
- Link 1: TX/RX = 300/300 Mbps
- Link 2: TX/RX = 300/300 Mbps
TCP/IP Speeds
- Link 1: 134 Mbps (as measured by the iperf tool in the NanoBridges)
- Link 2: Not measured
- End to End: 92 Mbps (passing through the 100 Mbps ethernet ports)
