Outdoor UniFi Coming ...

|
The Ubiquiti UniFi product has been very successful. But many people have requested that Ubiquiti make an outdoor version as there is no reason why the UniFi concept of central management of a set of APs should not be extended outdoors.
Ubiquiti has responded that there is no reason why the UniFi firmware can not be ported to run on their existing outdoor product range. Here is what Ben Moore (Ubiquiti's Vice President of Business Development) said this month:
|
Outdoor version for pico is planned to be released this month (currently looking like mid month).
Regards,
Ben
