Ubiquiti has been busy releasing a range of new products. Not all are shipping yet, but many are.
This newsletter keeps you up to date.
New NanoBeam Range
The new NanoBeam range from Ubiquiti is basically a refresh/update of the familar NanoStation/NanoBridge range. They still operate on 24V POE, but have faster CPUs (560 vs 400 MHz), and some models now include GbE (1000 Mbps) ethernet interfaces. The NanoStation replacements now include a mount that has Elevation adjustment.
When will NanoStations/NanoBridges be obsolete?
NanoBridge units are now End-of-Life (EOL) and can no longer be ordered from the factory.
NanoStation units: Short answer: We don't know. We have heard nothing from Ubiquiti on if/when the existing product line of NanoStation will be End-Of-Life (EOL).

Long-Range Omni Directional Hotspot
With this product, you can quickly install a long range OMNI directional MIMO WiFi HOTSPOT. We have had customers report that they obtain a solid connection to a Samsung S3 handheld smartphone at 1.1 km Line of Sight. That's a 2.2 km DIAMETER circle of coverage!
This product operates in the 2.4 GHz band.

airGateway-LR
This is the same as the recently introduced airGateway, but with the addition of an external 5 dBi antenna for extra range.
This exciting little device is a POE-powered mini-AP. While intended to be clipped onto a Ubiquiti POE power supply to add AP functionality inside a customer's house/office, it actually have a number of other applications.
The "LR" model includes a clip-in wall mount.

Rocket Dish 31 dBi AC
5 GHz, 2 x 2 MIMO Point-to-Point Dish Antenna
This antenna is designed to work with the Ubiquiti 5GHz RocketM5 range of products to create powerful 2 x 2 (MIMO) Point-to-Point (PtP) or Point-to-Multipoint(PtMP)links.

airFiber-5 5 GHz model
Ubiquiti has announced, but is not yet shipping a 5 GHz version of the popular airFiber product.
From www.ubnt.com:
Operating in the 5GHz band, airFiber 5 builds on the innovations in airFiber 24 to enable speeds up to 1Gbps and introduces new eXtended Range Technology (xRT) to provide 100+Km maximum range.
At this stage, we have no information as to when the product will start shipping. Price will be cheaper than the airFiber-24, but will operate in a more congested spectrum space. If you need a high speed link now, we recommend the airFiber-24.

UniFi V3 adds a lot of new features, and has spent a long time in Beta Testing. It is very close toe Release Candidate (RC) status. Click here to see latest update.
Ubiquiti Training - airMAX and UniFi
We now have both airMAX (airOS), and UniFi training courses available. The courses are each 2-days, and are booked separately. But in most cases, we will schedule them back-to-back so students can attend both in a 4-day stretch.
