RocketM5-GPS
The Rocket-GPS is a rugged, high-power, very linear 2x2 MIMO radio with enhanced receiver performance. It features incredible range performance (50+km) and breakthrough speed (150+ Mbps real TCP/IP). The device has extra memory and CPU capacity to handle demanding Basestation (AP or PtMP) applications.
Why GPS?
Many situations require the use of multiple AirMax M series devices on the same tower. The new Rocket M GPS products are designed to eliminate colocation interference by using synchronized transmission times.
With AirSync, the basestations make use of a common clock source using the built-in GPS receiver. One device is configured as the synchronization master and the others are configured in Slave Mode. Once this is done, the Master and Slave devices synchronize their transmit and receive cycles so that they transmit at the same time and receive at the same time.

Children's Equity Charity - Location link

A recently established charity that is using the latest technology to reduce waiting times for childhood developmental assessments has used Ubiquiti wireless devices to provide a backbone data connection between two healthcare locations. With the need for high definition video conferencing, IP based CCTV systems and data replication requirements to run across the link, the Ubiquiti installation of a Nanostation and a Nanobridge is working very well. Not being able to get sufficient Internet bandwidth at one location, having a fibre optic connection available at the head office and being able to securely share this link has been a boon for this project. Zenien, who installed the link were very happy with the result, especially as the wireless link has a tree-line and a Western Power high voltage sub-station right in its path. The link has been stable and was a cost effective solution for a financially stretched charity
